In the heart of our state’s capital region, UConn Hartford gives undergraduate and graduate students from all backgrounds the opportunity to begin, continue, or complete their education in a small college environment while still providing access to the resources and faculty of a world-class research university. Our programs incorporate experiential learning engaged with and informed by the many cultural, political, social, and economic institutions of the surrounding metropolitan area. With a high priority on community outreach and service, we are home to the School of Social Work, Department of Public Policy, Urban and Community Studies Program, Cooperative Extension System, and the Connecticut State Historian.
