Enrichment Opportunities

The UConn Hartford community provides many opportunities to enhance your educational experience. Nearly all enrichment programs at the University support students across all campuses.

Students at UConn Hartford can access the University's Honors Program through entry as a rising sophomore. You can also find support along professional tracks of study and guidance in pursuit of research and scholarship opportunities. And if you decide you would like to design your own major, you can also receive assistance in designing your own interdisciplinary study.

Global Education

Studying abroad is a great way to gain proficiency in another language and to experience a new culture. UConn Library Hartford serves the programs of the University of Connecticut’s Hartford Campus including over 1,200 graduate students working towards degrees in education, public policy, and social work and more than 1,000 undergraduates. Our collections include materials focused on Social Work, Public Policy, Education, and select areas within the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. In addition to our physical collections, users have access to electronic resources for a broader range of general and subject specific databases, journals, eBooks, and streaming media.
